Obituary of Melvin Gene Crane

MELVIN CRANE Graveside services for Melvin Gene Crane will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Glen Oaks Memorial Park with Stanley Crane officiating. Melvin passed away May 4, 2008 at his home. He was 81 years old. Melvin was born February 23, 1927 in Hammond, Indiana to Sydney and Lula Crane. He leaves behind his wife, Eleanor of 61 years; grandson, Bryan Hoss Sherrill and wife, Megan; great-grandsons, Avery and Bryan. Also a sister, Lois Mather of Days Creek, Oregon; brothers, Donald Ray and James Lynn of Corning, CA. Melvin served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1947.
