Obituary of Lorraine Benn Burgess

LORRAINE B. BURGESS Services are pending for Lorraine B. Burgess. Mrs. Burgess passed away at her home in Yuba City. She was 79. She was born in Los Angeles, CA. She married Dick Burgess on June 17, 1948. She was a member of Toastmasters, Indian Maidens, Hillbilly Chapter of Shriners, member of the Elks, an RV club. Lorraine was a gourmet cook and an accomplished seamstress, and known for her amazing pies. But most of all, she was an extraordinary mom. She is survived by daughters and son-in-laws, Peggy and Craig Carberry, and Toni and David Brinks, and son-in-law, Tom Dinning; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
