Obituary of Dale Joseph Adkinson

No services will be held for Dale Joseph Adkinson. Dale passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009. He was 89. Born July 19, 1920 in LaCroose, Kansas, he attended High School in Boulder, Colorado, and the University of Colorado, Boulder. Dale served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII from July 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1946. Dale retired as a dry-kiln operator from the Collins Pine Company in 1982. He was a past member of the Westwood #501 F&A.M. and a member of Chico Leland Stanford Lodge #111 F&A.M., also a member of V.F.W. Post 1555, where he faithfully served on the honor guard for many years. Dale is survived by two sons, Robert of Harrah, Oklahoma and Joseph of Wheatland, CA, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
