Obituary of Milton Perry Wolford

MILTON P. WOLFORD Milton P. Wolford passed away on November 14, 2008 at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA. Born in McCloud, CA on May 16, 1940 to Winferd and Audrey Wolford. Milton grew up on the Wolford Ranch in Callahan, CA. He graduated from Etna High School in 1958. Milton proudly served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. After returning home he worked in the logging and construction industry for many years and later as a heavy equipment operator. He was married to Patti Lynch for 14 years. Milt leaves behind two children, daughter, Leigh Ann Dawes (Kevin) of Chico, CA, Mark Evans (Helen) of Fort Jones, CA; grandchildren, Dylan and Kristin; sisters, Donna Decker of San Francisco, CA and Darleen Towne of Callahan, CA; brother, Dale Wolford (Gail) of Fort Jones, CA; and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Milton was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. No matter what challenges life threw at him he always kept a positive attitude and was an inspiration to us all A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Etna Cemetary on Sawyers Bar Rd.
