Obituary of Joel L.G. Lindstadt

A Memorial Service for Joel L. Lindstadt, 53 of Chico, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Paradise United Methodist Church, 6722 Clark Rd. in Paradise. Joel passed away on March 13, 2010 at Enloe Hospital after a 2 year battle with Cancer. He was born February 5, 1957 in Westpoint, Nebraska to Jack and Carol Lindstadt. Joel served in the Marine Corps. Joel graduated from Montgomery High School and Santa Rosa Jr. College and the Police Academy. Joel was a Police Officer for the Cotati, CA Police Dept. for 2 years and a Police Officer for Paradise Police Dept. for 28 years. In his youth, he was in Civil Air Patrol. Joel raised a family and was known for his wit and humor. He is survived by his son, Landon Lindstadt and daughter, Alyssa Lindstadt, both of Chico; a stepdaughter, Brieanne Sains of Chico; grandchildren, Alex and Gavin of Chico; and his parents, Jack and Carol Lindstadt of Santa Rosa, CA.
