Obituary of Steve U. Mosqueda

STEVE MOSQUEDA A memorial service for Steve Mosqueda, 62 of Chico, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. On December 13, 2009 the Lord came for his son who was born July 15, 1947 to the union of Eliodoro Mosqueda and Elena Chavez. Steve lived the majority of his younger years in Ventura County. Then 20 years ago he moved his family to Chico, CA. He enjoyed life in Chico, especially the mountains and valley of Gods creation. He loved to be around his children and grandchildren, always teaching them about the Lord and all of his blessings. Steve always had a saying whenever anyone would go to his house. The first thing he would say was, "What's Wrong"? He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Jannet of 40 years; his daughters, Margret (Frank), Virgie (Paul), Mercy (Carlos) and Jessie Mosqueda; grandchildren, Frank Jr., Monique (Matt), Gus, Rosemary, Leticia, Patricia, Max, Angel, Melanie, Paula, Nanci, Carlos Jr.; great-grandchildren, Myah Weber and Francisco Moreno; sisters, Rosann (Ramon) of Santa Paula, Lorraine Mosqueda of Ill., Marieann Mosqueda of Oxnard, CA and Henry Chavez also of Oxnard, CA and his mother, Elena Chavez (Adolfo). He is preceded in death by his father, Eliodoro Mosquda; brother, Robert Mosqueda and maternal grandparents, Esequiel and Teresa Urquidez. Steve is also survived by numerous nieces, cousins and many friends. We will always love and miss him. May God keep you in his loving care till we all meet again in his glorious kingdom.
