Obituary of Hubert Paul Weinrich

HUBERT PAUL WEINRICH Hubert Paul Weinrich, 82, died of natural causes on December 16, 2008 at his home in Durham. Mr. Weinrich was born in Willows, on March 10, 1926, to Leo and Bernedette Weinrich. He attended Willow's schools, then served in the U.S. Navy on an aircraft carrier during the Second World War. He worked for his father and uncles at the Willows Meat Market and later was co-owner of the Meridian Meat Company, a grocery, slaughterhouse and meat market, prior to moving to Durham. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Barbara Twede Weinrich; two daughters, Patricia Ruane of Portland, OR., Carrie Weinrich of Davis; daughter-in-law, Julie Greunke of Chico; and grandchildren, Amy and Kurt Weinrich of Chico. He was preceded in death by two sons, Paul and Kurt Weinrich; and an infant daughter. There will not be any services scheduled.
