Obituary of Royce Eloise Bowen

Royce Eloise Bowen, age 88, of Chico, went to be with our Lord on August 10th, 2021.
She was born in Lubbock, Texas on March 28th, 1933. Royce attended Chico High School and received her high school diploma. She married Raymond L. Bowen on December 7, 1953, in Yuma, Arizona.
Royce was a wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Royce played baseball for the Chico Women’s League on the Chico Peppers Team. She also worked for Pacific Bell.
Royce enjoyed painting and drawing. She loved to go to all of her children’s sports games, as well as her grandchildren’s games. She loved to bowl, exercise and studies Tai Chi.

Royce is survived by her daughter, Karrie Rottschalk; daughter, Brenda Bowen; son, Brian Bowen; son, Todd Bowen; grandchildren, Kristy Daily, Sam Rottschalk, and Tim Starkey, along with seven grandchildren.
