Bill was my "landlord" for five years in the late eighties. Like so many others, I grew to know him as a valued and cherished friend. Bill and Gloria made me feel like family during those years and well beyond.
Bill always greeted everyone with a big smile and an encouraging word. I always felt a little better, and stood a little taller, after a conversation with Bill. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Most recently I'd see Bill and Gloria at In Motion Fitness a couple of mornings each week "working my bones" as he'd say. "You're looking good!" Or, "You're a great American!" Bill never missed an opportunity to encourage people. I'd always let him know that he inspired me by coming to the gym so faithfully.
Bill was genuine and he made this world a better place because he valued people and his relationships with those of us God placed in his life.
Rest in peace my friend. I will see you again in God's heavenly Kingdom because of Jesus.
