Dear McIntire Family,
We were fortunate to be Myrt's neighbors since they moved to Skymountain Circle in 1985 or 86. Our family grew to love Mryt. Myrt and Mac watched our three children grow from birth to college age and for my husband and I, from young parents to middle age. Myrt was like our surrogate mom/grandma in our lives. She welcomed us into her home, had treats for the kids and always a loving heart. I valued our friendship tremendously. We loved Mac as well. He was a pistol and we loved his spunk and firey spirit. She loved her family and always had news of the boys, their wives and her grandchildren as well as the latest picture to share. You were blessed to have such a wonderful, loving matriarch and we were all blessed to have her in our lives.
The service was uplifting and she would have been so proud of her first grandchild and his eloquent words as well as her sons. It was amazing to watch the family today and to hear all of the Myrt storeis. I am thankful to have known Myrt. All of my kids loved her and she was the only constant grandmother type in their lives. She was always interested in their academics, and of course their athletics. She was so proud of her sons and had many sports tales to share as our own kids pursued sports.
I am thankful for knowing Myrt and hope I can be half as warm and loving as she was in her life.
All our best,
Amanda, Herman, Erica, Brianna and Terence Ellis

Dear McIntires -The memory of Myrt brings me such joy. Her laughter, the twinkle in her eyes, the love she had for the Maywood Drive "families" warms my heart. In recent years I loved hearing about all of you in her Christmas cards. She will be so missed, but more importanly she will always be in our hearts. She was a blessing to all of who knew her. With Love - Patricia

Myrt was such a special person and her warmth radiated a room—made you smile and touched your heart. I have so many, many wonderful memories at the McIntire house and with Myrt. She was a big part of my younger life and I was so fortunate to have such a fabulous person and her influences abound.
These times are so tough…to lose these people that were such an intricate part of our lives. Myrt was very special and I have missed them in town since they moved to Chico. When I drive past the house on Maywood Drive, I always have a flood of memories performing…ice tea at the kitchen counter (and once coming out of Chris' nose), whiffle ball or football games in the front yard, watching the older brothers and their friends playing basketball, awesome neighborhood hide and seek at the light pole, "BB gun hunting" out back and yes, July 4th fireworks—illegal as they were. The point being..one always felt welcomed at Myrt and Mac's home. We are so fortunate to have been touched by the magic of Myrt…her beautiful smile and warm heart.
Myrt…thanks for the soft influences, safe harbor and many, many wonderful memories.
My love is with the family today in the celebration of a beautiful person, Myrt.
With Love,
Cathy (Settlemire) Micheals

Myrte and Mac were both wonderful people. I was blessed to have grown up across the street from the McIntire's. The memories of Myrte bring a smile to my face and warm my heart. She was blessed with the gift of hospitality and always made everyone feel like a long time friend. The past years she would write the most wonderful Christmas cards. I look forward to seeing both she and Mac in heaven one day! Our Love to all the McIntire's. Merle and Phyllis

We are wishing we could be with your family tomorrow for Myrtle's service. Mark & I have such fond memories of Myrt & Mack visiting us in Payson when Mack was inspecting lumber here. Chris & Brad were the only ones traveling with them by then..little guys! My folks don't travel by air anymore, but they too would have wanted to be with your family at this time. Our hearts & prayers are with you all. Shalom, Becky Kilgore Sopeland

Dear McIntire Family,
Words cannot express our sorrow in the passsing of dear Myrt. She was such a part of our neighborhood, our circle, our family. She brought us dinner at the celebration of our last arrival, Megan. She stopped by the driveway to chat about education, children, and the love of her family. I heard about the latest family wedding, the latest grandchild or the newest neighbor on the block.
She is the inspiration of parenting, community, and family and will be greatly missed.
Our Prayers,
The Werner's
