Dear Manuel, Gary, and family;
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family today. Irene wa a very special person in my life. I hope you are comforted in some way today by knowing how greatly she touched so many lives. She was a very special woman who always put others thoughts and feelings before her own. I share your sorrow and you are all in my thoughts and my heart on this very sad day.
Love and prayers,
Paula Faunce Moriguchi

I have known your Mother/Grandmother for several years, because we both attended the Chico Luncheon Group. I began when my Mother was alive, and have continued on. Irene was always upbeat, and always interested in what was going on with everyone, and always a big smile on her face.
I consider it a joy to have known her, and I will miss her.
God Bless you all, as you grieve, yet knowing that your Mother will be welcomed into the heavenlies, still makes the loss very hard on those left behind.

As Manuel, Cathy, and Gary know, I have known Irene all my life. She had a kind spirit that helped me to understand my mother's perspective during my teenage years, as well as helping me feel supported.
Irene taught me to crochet, and sent crocheted gifts to my children as infants. I never did learn to do the broomstick lace or the hairpin lace, but enjoyed the gifts she sent.
Irene was a steadfast friend to my mother even during the days when Mom was in an assisted living home, she kept in touch and visited when she could.
May you all find comfort in the great memories you have of your mother and grandmother. She truly was a great lady!
