Obituary of Myrtle Rose

Irene Rose passed away unexpectedly while traveling in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 18, 2009 she was 82. Irene was born on October 1, 1927 in Galena, Kansas to Claud and Myrtle Parsley. She attended Galena High School and later married Alfonso Francis Rose, she remained a housewife while raising their two sons. Irene enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing, crafts and baking but most of all spending time with family and friends and helping others. She was a member of the Church on the Esplanade in Chico. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Alfonso in April of 2005. She is survived by her two sons, Manual C. Rose Sr. (Cathy) of Juneau, Alaska and Gary A. Rose Sr. (Olivia) of Fair Oaks, CA. grandchildren Tyler G. Rose (Corrina) of Magalia, CA Manuel C. Rose Jr. (Melissa) of Juneau, AK. and Gary A. Rose Jr. of Chico, CA along with great grandchildren Bradley and Kurtis of Magalia and Thomas, Ona Grace, Madilyn and Hunter of Juneau. A visitation for Irene will be held on Friday November 27, 2009 from 5pm to 8 pm. And a Funeral Service on Saturday the 28th at 11:00 am at the Brusie Funeral Home, burial will follow at Chico Cemetery.
