Thank you Jeannette, Don, Bill (Doc), Kevin and everyone who keeps my father Roy in their thoughts and prayers. I am Roy's youngest daughter Tanya and I took care of my father durring the last 7 months of his life in which we became closer then ever. May we all just remember the good times with Roy and know that he has finally found peace. Thank you all once again for your condolences.

I had the Pleasure of working closely with Roy for about 12-13 years. In those years we camped and fished together many times. He was a fun guy to be around. There are many good memories in those years. I will always be grateful to him for giving me the bug for fishing, which I still enjoy now in Washington and Idaho. My condolences to all his family and friends.

I will miss Roy, and especially fishing with Roy. I remember one time on the feather when we were fishing for salmon at the outlet, at Roy's secret fishing hole, and Roy said, "If anyone else shows up here today, this place won't be a secret anymore.."
We would go shad fishing at his secret shad fishing hole, and he would take his dog. We would both cast out, and then Roy's dog would go 'Ruff", and Roy would catch a fish. This happened over and over, 'Ruff'. Fish. 'Ruff'. Fish. I wasn't catching a thing. Then, the dog went "Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff", so I asked Roy "what does that mean, bunch of fish?" Roy says "nope. That means he's hungry".
This dog was great. The two of them would sit on the shoreline, and sing this song that they both knew, and the dog would actually sing. You could hear the words! I think the dog sung better than Roy. No kidding there either.
One time we were fishing the secret shad hole, and he was just slaying them, I was getting nothing. So, I found this big rock, and threw it out in the water, so I could stand on it and cast farther than Roy. He named it "Doc's Rock". Pretty soon everyone knew about Doc's Rock at the secret fishing hole. He still caught more than me that day.
I will miss Roy

Roy and I knew each other as teens. We lived across the street from one another on Humboldt. You will always have a special place in my heart, Roy. Wing on dear friend.
