Obituary of Roy Perez

ROY ANTHONY PEREZ A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagles Hall, 1940 Mulberry, Chico, for Roy Anthony Perez. Roy passed away here in Chico on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. He was 56. Roy was born in Gridley, CA on December 31, 1953 to Tony and Delores Perez. Roy attended Chico schools, graduating from Chico High, where he was an outstanding football player. Roy was a member of the Eagles here in Chico. He loved playing guitar, and was a great blues harp player. Roy also loved fishing and camping. Roy is survived by his children, Jennifer, Robyn, Derek and Tanya. Also a brother and sister, Harley Perez of Chico and Tina Fischer of Roseville.
